Budget accommodations such as hostels and budget hotels can range from $20 to $60 per night. Mid-range options, including 3-star hotels, typically range from $60 to $150, while luxury accommodations can start from $150 and go upwards.

Food – Dining in Mexico is a delight for every budget. Street food and local eateries can offer tasty meals for $5 to $15, while dining in mid-range restaurants may cost between $15 and $40 per person. Fine dining experiences in upscale restaurants can range from $40 to $100 and above per person.

Transportation – Transportation costs vary, with local buses and taxis costing a few dollars, and inter-city buses ranging from $10 to $50. Domestic flights may range from $50 to $200 or more, depending on the distance.

Suggested daily budget – 80-150 EUR / 90-165 USD (Note: This is a suggested budget assuming you’re staying in a hostel, eating out a little, cooking most of your meals, and using local transportation. Using the budget tips below, you can always lower this number. However, if you stay in fancier accommodation or eat out more often, expect this to be higher!)
